Accepting his calling into ministry in 2006, ordained in 2010, Pastor Brown is an innovative speaker, with a unique blend of a traditional and contemporary style. He uses theologically sound sermons with uplifting methods to equip, enrich, and empower people for life’s challenges.
Pastor Brown has served in several different areas of ministry. His ministry at Brown’s Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of his father, the late Rev. Dr. William E. Brown. Being a skilled musician he has served as Minister of Music for different churches in the Dallas area. Among the grace gifts and talents with which God has blessed Pastor Brown, none of them are more meaningful to him than preaching and teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ. He believes that God has entrusted His Word to him and people’s lives are dependent on sound biblical teaching and preaching. His commitment to be used by God to preach in excellence has led hundreds to new life in Christ.
Rev. Eric Brown is a native of Garland, Texas. He holds the Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology from Sam Houston University in Huntsville, Texas. He is currently seeking to further his education aiming for a Master of Divinity degree in Pastoral Care. Pastor Brown is married to the lovely Anissa T. Brown.
